I dare you!

I came across a scripture during my quiet time today that has really lit a fire in my heart to take a stand for the Lord and all that is righteous and good in His sight. Micah 7:2 states, "The godly man has perished from the earth, and there is none upright among men."

I don't know how that verse makes you feel, but it makes me want to jump to my feet and say, "Lord, I want to be counted as a righteous and upright man!" The truth is, this is a word for today. The world around us is searching for something real, meaningful, and something that will last. All of our attempts to fill this void with anything other than an intimate relationship with God, only leads to disappointment. So I close with this thought and challenge: If the righteous and upright are out there somewhere, then take a stand and live it out. Go ahead. Change the world. Make an impact for Christ. I dare you!
